January has always been known as the cinema bomb aftermath in the filmography industry as it is the month after all the big Oscar nominee films come out and win millions, Broken City is here taking sloppy seconds.
Mark Wahlberg actually did the same thing last year with the film Contraband. Now focusing on Broken City, it's not a bad movie, pretty decent but it's all we've seen before and some scenes that are hard to interpret.
The dynamic duo of Mark and Russell work very well in this political injustice film. If only they had a better prepared plot for them. In the end it's not a bad film to watch in a movieless month such as January or wait till the DVD comes out, you aren't missing much.
