Review of Broken City (2013) by Galaxy Quest P — 03 May 2013

It has a simplistic story that tries to outline deception and the crooked behind the scenes of politics. but some where along the lines tries too hard and falls short of its mark. It was a good idea having the cop who was given a favor when he murders some one, be called upon to almost repay the debt with shady background events occurring but that didn't stop it from becoming very predictable.

It is well acted and enjoyable as it almost comes off as a mystery-drama but it does start to lose some steam as it wears on and you begin to see the pieces falling in place. It didn't necessarily need any more action, just a bit better job at the mystery department.
