Review of Broken Arrow (1996) by Murder C — 10 May 2008
US Air Force pilots Vic Deakins (John Travolta) and Riley Hale (Christian Slater) are set to fly a B-3 bomber carrying two live nuclear missiles in a training mission. During this mission Vic Deakins drops the nukes in the Utah desert in order to steal them and use them for ransom.
The whole thing turns to a 'cat and mouse' game with Riley Hale out to stop Vic Deakins. "Broken Arrow" is mindless action at its best, the movie is packed with good action scenes, lots of explosions, some good one liners and over all good performances from both Travolta and Slater.
Top it all off with a great soundtrack score from Hans Zimmer and you have a John Woo action classic, worth seeing in other words.
