Review of Broken Arrow (1996) by Larry S — 14 May 2008
John Woo is definitely a style-over-substance director, which is not necessarily a bad thing. This story, however, requires a bit more realism than Woo gives us, and the flick suffers for it. Travolta is a bit too over-the-top, too, but then again, isn't he usually over-the-top.
