Review of Broken Arrow (1996) by Ashley P — 01 Sep 2008
I know it's kinda dumb, but I just have a thing for John Woo, and I have to admit that I enjoyed this one more than once. John Travolta is convincing as a ranking army officer turned mean villain, and Christian Slater is likeable as his good-guy nemesis.
Undoubtedly corny - but the action (and Morricone-style score by Hans Zimmer) is captivating.
