Review of Broken Arrow (1996) by Chris R — 02 Oct 2008
Normally don't I really watch John Travolta but this is one of the rare occasions mainly due to the fact this is a pure all out Screen busting explosion, Bullet Spitting, Stunt laden Aplomb.
With the plot naturally taking a back seat this easily reamins a quality piece of Action entertainment although for Director John Woo this is not his best but that cann be forgiven as it's doing exactly what it says on the cover.
Once again the themes of traditional Woo story lines are amoungst the carnage such as friendship betrayal, duty and the lust for money, however if you are looking for a plot it's certainly not here - check your brain in and enjoy.
Best Line ("I don't know which is scarier losing Nuclear Weapons or that it happens so often there is actually a term for it" ).
