Review of Broken Arrow (1996) by Sean L — 26 Feb 2009

Call this a guilty pleasure if you will, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. John Travolta needs to play more over the top insane villains. He is so much fun to watch. Somehow Christian Slater also manages to give a performance that doesn't make me want to punch him in the face.

Plus we get small doses of great character actors like Kurtwood Smith and Delroy Lindo. John Woo's style isn't at the forefront here, but there is enough to elevate this above most typical action movies of the 80s and 90s.
