I remember seeing this when I was a teenager and loving it, but I've watched it two or three times since then and I don't see what the big deal is, really. I mean, it's not terrible, but it's pretty much every other "holy crap there's a bomb!" movie I've ever seen.
No spectacular acting, no mind-blowing plot twists... but it's good enough to keep you interested for a couple of hours, I suppose.
