Review of Broken Angel (1988) by Matthew C — 11 Dec 2010
This goofy and awkward wannabe after-school special is entertaining enough for its Shat Factor, but you need a strong endurance for iffy dialog and rampant teen/parent stereotypes. Filmed between Star Trek IV and V, William Shatner walks through the role of oblivious patriarch Chuck Coburn as he hunts the mean streets of LA for his drug addled daughter (Playboy's Erika Eleniak).
If you love The Shat you'll enjoy Broken Angel, if you don't than give it a pass. VF.
