Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005) by Col S — 02 Jul 2012
It is one of the most moving films I've ever seen. So much more than just a "gay cowboy" story, it creates characters so real and complex that it sucks the audience in right from the beginning.
As spot on as the two leads are, the supporting performances are just perfect, particularly Michelle Williams who begins to prove in this film why she is one of our most gifted actresses. A haunting romance, and a stunningly crafted piece of film.
