Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005) by Jeff A — 02 Dec 2012
The trick to this movie is that it is so plain and despair filled, that it makes the emotion feel more intricate. The mountain provides a haven built high, and the characters (two great actors) struggle to comprehend its importance.
The film score, invisible (literally) provides more emptiness and that feeling of being outside when the characters fight for their want to remain together. Ultimately, this film leaves you pondering the importance of what love is.
