Why does this movie get so much praise? It's incredibly boring, and incredibly naive. The plot revolves around gay cowboys, expect for the fact that there were no cowboys in 1963, and there certainly weren't any gay cowboys.

Of course, this is an independent movie directed by Ang Lee, so I was expecting this to be a crappy movie. The presentation is nothing but folk guitar riffs, and the characters seem lifeless in my eyes, mainly because all they do is talk and do uninteresting crap.

Overall, it's one of the most overrated movies of all time, and one of the most boring movies I've ever seen.
