Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005) by Jonathan P — 03 Aug 2013
A heartbreaking romantic drama about a love that is opposed and hated by many who cannot understand. we've all been there with a love we can never have because of the way things are. either its because of we find someone we love that is too stubborn and afraid of opening up to things.
people say this could've also been about straight people. that's BS, this had to be about homosexuality, or else this story would've been not as powerful. its a story about forbidden love which the most famous type of love.
and though I do think Crash was the deserving Best Picture of 2005, I don't think this film is anything less as powerful as Crash was. this is still one of the great classics of cinema.
