Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005) by Joyce J — 20 Apr 2012

Does it have good performances that embody the complexities of sexuality? Yes. Is it the most profound thing ever? No. Honestly, I find the big whoop around a so-called sex scene (that shows nothing!) was more telling than the movie itself.

I look forward to a film that cares to be a little more honest about homosexuality rather than one that tries to constrain it as this one does.
