Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005) by Carlos R — 23 Jul 2013
Brokeback Mountain is a masterpiece of filmmaking, particularly because of its flawless direction, courtesy of Ang Lee, and its spellbinding cinematography. Watching it is a beautiful, deep, intense and unforgettable experience, and the masterful score by Gustavo Santaolalla was a wonderful ingredient.
It should have definitely won the Academy Award for Best Picture that year because it was arguably the greatest film of 2005, and also one of the most perfectly acted movies of the decade.
