Review of Broadway Melody of 1936 (1935) by Byron B — 11 May 2008
This one was a lot of fun. A nice paced plot with some funny comedy, and some great dance numbers peppered through out. Powells show stopper at the end is a sight to behold. How the hell she spun so fast on tap shoes is beyond me.
Only complaint is Ebsen didn't get more to do.
