Review of Broadway Danny Rose (1984) by Kyriako T — 10 Jun 2007
I don't know why, but this has always been my favorite Woody Allen movie. In this movie we follow Woody Allen as Broadway Danny Rose, an agent who only has the worst possible clients. Really lousy small time acts.
Suddenly things starts happening for Danny when he for some reason gets involved with a girl on the run from the mob. Danny is presented with warmth, and his undying optimism on behalf of his really lousy clients, is both funny and heart warming.
A great movie -- in black and white.
