Review of Broadway Danny Rose (1984) by Piyush K — 30 Aug 2008
Very funny and witty Woody Allen classic. Shot entirely in classic black-and-white in New York City and does not feel aged one bit. Great script and sly banter in true Allen fashion. Woody Allen is a small-time Broadway agent who discovers new talent and ends in a mix-up with organised crime elements where one of his clients cannot stop his womanizing ways with a moll played nicely by Mia Farrow who is connected to some faces in the cement business.
Hilarious mobsters with over the top dialogue and remarks. Great for fans of Woody Allen and even more modern 'Seinfeld' parodies.
