One of my two favorite Woody Allen movies, from his great early '80s period. A very big movie in a very small package. Its ending is in competition with City Lights for the best romantic ending to a film ever.
I have never watched it without tears coming to my eyes, and I am as hard-boiled as they come. "Acceptance, forgiveness and love...now that's a philosophy of life.".
