Review of Broadway Damage (1997) by Stephen M — 12 Feb 2008
CUTE IS NOT ENOUGH...
To make a movie work. There is humor, there is romance, there are broken hearts, and of course, there is the perfect happy ending. Of course, remember these characters are living in New York, trying to work in a field where the competition is brutal, and where most ingrained principles are abandoned for the sake of survival. In the midst of all of this, two friends realize they are more than friends and the eternal fag hag finally gets what she wants too.
What more could anyone ask for? Hmmm, maybe some substance. Okay to watch, not good enough to remember.
