This film was very good and it really was excellent in portraying how the nightly news gets done. Holly Hunter was amazing as the obsessive-compulsive news producer from the South and I still wonder how in the world she lost to Cher for the Best Actress Academy Award.
William Hurt has always been underrated and he did very well as Tom the anchorman. Albert Brooks however was the best in the film. He had the best lines and the best timing. Excellently directed by James Brooks, showing the world what he did before the Simpsons.
