Review of Britney: For the Record (2008) by Laëtitia M — 25 Jan 2009
First of all, I always hated britney spear's music and disliked britney as a person. I always changed radio and tv chanel when she was on air. I knew her life thought magazine and gossip.
So why did I watch this documentary ? Because I open minded and I wanted to give her and the producer a chance to show me who she really is and to make me change my mind.
This documentary was really interesting. I have learnt facts about her and her life. The honesty she shows during the interview at Mondrian Hotel is helpful. She shows who she is really, she doesn't play a role and she is touching.
This documentary made me change of mind about her. It gave me a better opinion of her in term of person even if it doesn't made me love better her music.
She looks fragile, she shows sincerity, she allows us to see how her life is, she shows that she is trying to go forward, she also shows how lonely she is and how strong she can be. We saw a part of her real personality. She looks very human.
