Review of Bringing Up Baby (1938) by Yuenmei L — 30 Mar 2008
A classic screwball comedy. Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant were fantastic in this, matching each other word for word, delivery by delivery, character for character. And everyone else -- from the leopard, to George the dog, to dinosaur bones -- were hilarious and make this film and unforgettable one.
If only comedy films of today still had the sparkle of the screwball films of yesteryear.
