Review of Bringing Up Baby (1938) by Slappy M — 07 Sep 2008
Only thespians such as Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn would have the versatility to take on such a screwbsll comedy as Howard Hawks' "Bringing Up Baby". The brisk, wacky humour is positively delightful.
Even though the plot and the comedy slows down considerably in the final act, the rest of the film still makes it a must see for anyone in need of a good laugh.
