Review of Bringing Up Baby (1938) by Nathan H — 03 Jan 2009
The quintessential screwball comedy, Cary Grant stars as a stuffy professor who ends up being the love interest of the eccentric heiress Katharine Hepburn. Non-stop laughs from beginning to end. Though thought of now as predictable, this is what most directors look at to compare anything labeled as a screwball comedy.
A must-see for any fan of comedy back when it was, well, funny.
