Review of Bringing Up Baby (1938) by Jannie H — 15 Mar 2009
Of course, they're better in The Philadelphia Story. Of course, Arsenic and Old Lace is genius -but - that doesn't mean that this isn't also a classic. It's hilarious, with butt-clenchingly funny and stressful scenes.
The dialogue between Grant and Hepburn is magic. Her mania and rapid-fire talk will both stress you and make you shout with laughter. A classic. I love it!!
