Review of Bringing Up Baby (1938) by Betty W — 03 Sep 2009
Romantic/screwball comedies really aren't my thing, but this film is truly an exception. It makes me sad that romantic comedies that are as good as this aren't really made anymore.
The characters are fascinating, especially Hepburn which is pretty rare in women roles. Dude, it's about a freaking leopard and this woman who makes this guy follow her around because she's totally in love with him. I think it's almost impossible to not find either one of them charming.
