Review of Bringing Up Baby (1938) by Keenan S — 12 Aug 2011
This is easily one of my all-time favorite romance films, and also one of my all-time favorite comedies. Within in ten minutes I had laughed more times than the vast majority of modern comedies I had seen combined.
The hijinks between Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant were highly amusing and ranged from chasing after a leopard in the woods, to stealing cars, to ending up in jail, to lying about identities, to wrecking each other's lives was terrifically hysterical.
I absolutely adore this film and recommend it to anyone who loves classic films.
