Review of Bringing Out the Dead (1999) by Rich C — 14 Jun 2013
Competently directed and entertaining film with some flaws. Cage is great but Arquette is terrible and never believable in any of the emotions she tries to convey. The film, while having some great individual scenes, is overall too bleak and never lets enough light in for the audience to care enough about the characters the way we should.
Still well worth watching.
