Nicholas Cage completely inhabits his role as a sleep deprived paramedic. The way Scorsese uses lighting in this movie is extraordinary.The supporting cast is perfect and the hallucination scene is amazingly well done.
Scorsese's directing is excellent and it shows in every frame of this movie. Also, Includes a fantastic soundtrack esp. the song T.B. Sheets by Van Morrison.
