Review of Bringing Down the House (2003) by Andrew G — 07 Mar 2008
A decent comedy. A couple of good laughs here and there, but I've seen better clashes of suburbian white culture and ghetto black. You gotta respect Queen Latifah though, she just deserves it. She's just so bold and strong, her body dosen't even bother her and those qualities shone through in her acting.
Steve Martin's always a pleasure too, I would like to see him in some more meaningful pictures though. As for the movie itself, nothing amazing.
