A mezcal-soaked nightmare of a film, Peckinpah's ode to masculinity and violence is hard to forget. Not for the squeamish but contains some unforgettable scenes, a fantastic performance by Warren Oates and the usual machine-gun editing style Peckinpah perfected.
A powerful film not soon forgotten.
