Review of Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974) by Nathaniel R — 07 Jun 2008

Great revenge film that successfully justifies the amount of violence in the film, something I think Peckinpah failed to achieve in "The Wild Bunch". The first half may seem slow to some but it makes the latter half of the film much more compelling as the main character's actions make sense and his character is well-developed.

Still has the well-filmed gunplay Peckinpah loves so much but I actually enjoyed it all here.
