Review of Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974) by Paul J — 12 Sep 2008
Not a particularly good movie but not a really bad one either. It is typical Sam Peckinpah fare but suffers from looking like a travelogue for mexico at times: what is with all the singing? This is the tale of a chancer out to collect on the bounty being put on some lothario who deflowered some mob boss's daughter.
Only really worth seeing if you like Peckinpah's other works.
