This film has similar traits to "Treasure of the Sierra Madre", notably the greed that can lead to the darker sides of human nature. A pure Peckinpah film, with Warren Oates in his best performance, and the poetry of violence the director was so famous for, ".
..Alfredo Garcia" will either be loved or hated, but remain one of Peckinpah's most interesting movies.
