Review of Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974) by Ken T — 28 Sep 2010
One of the sleaziest, brutal film visions to come out of, what else, the 1970s. Bloody Sam directs this truly tremendous, unique masterpiece as only he could. Piano man Benny drives a head with a bounty on it to El Jefe.
Along the way Benny meets a multitude of "unique" personalities. Certainly not for all tastes, but an absolute must for cinephiles, Peckinpah fans and anyone else who doesn't mind their cinema served up sleazy and repulsive.
