Review of Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974) by Steve M — 11 Nov 2010
No body can show violence quite like Sam the man Peckinpah. Warren Oates is awesome as a piano player turned bounty hunter and much like Peckinpah's masterpiece "The Wild Bunch" the violence is shot so brilliantly that it becomes a work of art.
Peckinpah is a master of uping the anty and filming a memorable climax and this is no exception. Eventhough I'm praising the hell out of this film its not nearly as good as the wild bunch but then again the wild bunch is one of the best western films ever made.
