Review of Brighton Rock (1948) by Stephen M — 06 Feb 2008
Stays in your mind even after over 60 years, Richard Attenborough makes for one of the most villainous antagonists the screen has ever seen. An absolute classic noir that everyone should see. Pinkie Brown epitomoses the youthful frustration in the back setting of a drab post-war Brighton with great style.
Fantastic.
