Review of Brightburn (2019) by Lambo442 — 14 Jun 2019
A very entertaining film, but let down by the poor dialogue and lack of plot. It stays centered nicely around its premise though, with no excess rubbish. You get to enjoy what you set out to enjoy, which is just pure, gratuitous brutality.
It's very amusing too, that's the best thing about it. It has a really dark sense of humour and I get the impression it's not trying to be anything spectacular. It kept me hooked until the end and I left happy, having seen something original.
Good casting for the kid too, he looks like a psycho.
