Review of Bright Young Things (2003) by Hilary B — 05 Nov 2007

Beautiful to look at, wonderful characters and delightful banter, but the film still managed to disappoint. Things one would assume to be important like the main character's book and the movie's name sake just disappeared in the first five minutes.

I held no feeling for any of the characters as they were fried, ratted on, cheated, lied to, fired, bombed or institutionalized. Still it was all very pretty and some-what amusing.
