Review of Bright Young Things (2003) by Courtney B — 24 Mar 2008
Delightful comedy of coincidence and manners with some deeper themes. Stephen Fry manages to maintain a sense of narrative drive through what is essentially a series of anecdotes and makes the superficial nature of much of the anecdotes into a fragile shell, which sometimes cracks in a devastating fashion.
In a bright cast, only Stephen Campbell Moore doesn't seem quite up to the task.
