What's with that plot summary?
Anyway, this movie began well, started to drag, and ended badly. Devoid of any characterization, and the humor from the book was completely leeched from this film. Bits of the film work, and bits plod on. Not enough for me to recommend it, even if you are a fan of Stephen Fry.
Brilliant cast, though! Almost like a retro "Peter's Friends" in the sheer amount of famous actors.
