Hmmmm... I mean, the LOOK of this film is so lovely. Abbie Cornish is amazing. I love Jane Campion. But even this film is just too in love with itself. The pacing is dull and the story made me feel like when you watch a friend of yours cooing over a new relationship.
Like, there's too much PDA/LOOK WE ARE SO IN LOVE in this film. I kind of wanted to slap everyone. Then I wanted to slap myself for watching. Very Ho Hum and very annoying and slow film. Watch it.
