Review of Bright Star (2009) by Summer D — 25 Jun 2010
I was bored throughout most of the film. I know it isn't supposed to be thrilling, but nothing much happened to make the movie memorable. The cast is alright, Ben Whishaw looks the part as a sickly but charming John Keats and Abbie Cornish's performance improves through the movie.
The only thing that saves this movie from being terrible is the lovely costumes and cinematography.
