Review of Bright Star (2009) by Barbara G — 24 Feb 2010
"Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,.
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,.
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,.
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,.
And so live ever ? or else swoon to death.".
Breathtaking photograph, visual, script and acting. A truly poetic film about what it is the calm, simple and romantic love in 19th century, and in our time also: the breathing, the butterflies, the flowers, the trees, the poems, the style and gentle mist that capture the movements in this beautiful piece of art.
