Beautiful costumes and even more beautiful scenes. I loved the romance but I wished that there had been so more backstory when it came to charles brown's behavior towards the couple, also I didn't understand right away what john was dying from because it seemed so sudden and almost like he had been shot or something instead of his TB finally catching up to him.
