Review of Bright Star (2009) by William B — 10 Mar 2010
Thirty minutes was all we could handle of this film before it was turned off.
Just what the hell was happening? Not really sure--and I have seen a lot of David Lynch stuff.
There was some dude named Brown who our heroine did not like but Keats hung out with him so therefore he was in the picture a lot and insults were thrown between them.
There was talk of stitching and a lot of walking on the Heath, but there is no connection with these characters. We just don't care and if you don't care by the end of the first act of the flick, then what is the use of watching any more of it, even if it is Jane Campion, who is a great film maker.
