Review of Bright Star (2009) by Nikki L — 13 Mar 2010
Didn't realize it was based on a true story - guess I was away from poetry too long. Keats is certainly such a bright and shooting star. Definitely need to pick up poetry again some time soon.
Sometimes I wonder why I could not hear such kind of love stories any more. Fanny remained unmarried all her life after this romance. Vicotoria carried a life as if Albert were still alive with her since he died, etc. All I know is that love is not so lasting in this modern world and that commitment is not taken seriously while divorce becomes an ordinary thing. Anyway, love is hard to comprehend.
