Heartbreaking story of the romance between Fanny Brawne and John Keates (the poet) in the 3 years prior to his death. Ah, were it not for the Romantic poet's intense but paradoxical views on love and death and society's conventions on not marrying below your class.
.. poor Fanny may have gotten to marry her love and be happy for at least a while before he died. Good period film.
