Review of Bright Star (2009) by Pilar G — 10 Sep 2010
Wow! I loved this film. One of the greatest period pieces I've ever seen. Ben Whinshaw as poet John Keats deserved an Oscar! The acting is unashamedly perfect, teetering between a million different emotions as a relationship blossoms between John Keats and Fannie Brawne.
When Keats becomes ill, we see true emotions coming through the actors, and this makes thr film, in my opinion, perfect.
